Job market getting tighter - again

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today that the unemployment rate slipped to 4.4% in March from 4.5% in February, confirming the perceptions commonly expressed by staffing industry recruiters that the job market is getting tighter. Compared with a year earlier, unemployment is lower among workers of all educational levels, but the largest decline in unemployment has been among those with less than a high school diploma. Unemployment among such workers is currently at 7.0%, down from 7.9% in March of 2006, and the lowest level for this group since the mid-1970s. Source: www.staffingindustry.com

As you can see by the stats above, the world of employment as we know it is changing rapidly. More and more companies are now faced with the difficult challenge of finding qualified applicants to meet their operational needs, and are engaging the services of the staffing industry in record numbers.

Once unheard of, temporary help, permanent placement, professional employer organizations (PEOs), outplacement, contract technical staffing, contingency search, executive recruitment, retained search, and Internet recruitment are now part of our daily lives.

The growing demand for these staffing services points toward a future where mid-level companies, corporations, and small businesses the world over will rely upon increasingly innovative methods of bringing qualified applicants to the marketplace.

Our model will be on cutting edge of this revolution in staffing. Stay tuned, more coming!
